Obverse description Draped bust of Ceres facing right, her hair arranged in an elaborate coiffure and adorned with a wreath of grain ears, a characteristic attribute of the goddess of agriculture. The bust is rendered in a confident Flavian style with fine drapery visible at the truncation. The encircling legend runs from lower left to upper right around the periphery of the flan.
