| Beschrijving voorzijde | A military trophy occupies the centre of the field, depicted as a suit of armour mounted on a post with oval shields suspended at either side and crossed weapons below, rendered in bold relief characteristic of Flavian-era bronzes. The encircling legend reads IMP DOMIT AVG GERM, distributed around the trophy in capital Latin letters. The design is purely emblematic, with no portrait, emphasising Domitian's military victories over the Germanic tribes.
