Obverse description A date palm tree depicted upright in the center of the field, its fronds spreading symmetrically from the crown, rendered in a simple but recognizable style characteristic of Flavian bronzes. The circular Latin legend runs along the inner edge of the coin's border, enclosing the design. The palm tree is a well-known Flavian motif referencing the Judaean campaign and the conquest of Jerusalem in AD 70.
