Reverse description A central palm branch or oak wreath motif occupies the field, with the senatorial authorization letters S C (Senatus Consultum) flanking the central design to the left and right respectively. The surrounding legend bearing the imperial titulature is disposed around the periphery. The reverse type is characteristic of Neronian quadrantes struck at Rome, combining the senatorial mark of authority with abbreviated imperial titles. The overall composition is consistent with RIC I 259.
