Obverse description Bare male head facing right, rendered in a somewhat provincial Hellenistic style with hair depicted in short, layered locks. The portrait is boldly modelled within a plain circular field. The letter V appears to the left of the effigy, serving as a control mark or value indicator. The coin surface bears the characteristic patina and irregular flan typical of Iberian provincial bronze coinage of the late Republican period.
