Obverse description Helmeted bust of Minerva facing right, depicted in profile with a crested Corinthian helmet and draped shoulders, rendered in a compact and vigorous style characteristic of Flavian bronze coinage. The goddess is shown with flowing hair visible beneath the helmet, the aegis partially indicated at the truncation. The encircling Latin legend IMP DOMIT AVG GERM runs around the periphery, identifying the issuing emperor Domitian by his imperial titles.
