| Reverse description | Reverse field bearing a four-line inscription arranged concentrically and in the center of the coin, naming the local duoviri responsible for the issue. The legend C V I CEL in the central field identifies the colonial authority, Colonia Victrix Iulia Celsa, while the names L BAGGIO MN FESTO II VIR around the periphery record the two magistrates (duoviri) under whose authority the coin was struck. The lettering is bold and deeply incised in Roman capitals typical of Augustan colonial Hispanic issues. |
