| Obverse description | Bare or lightly draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in low relief with crude provincial workmanship typical of Aelia Capitolina coinage. The portrait exhibits the emperor's characteristic full beard and close-cropped hair. A partial abbreviated legend appears to the left of the bust in the field. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hand-struck provincial bronzes of the Antonine period. |
