| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse bears the Shahada (Islamic profession of faith) inscribed in multiple horizontal lines of Kufic Arabic script within the coin field, without any border ornamentation other than a plain inner circle. The text is arranged in the typical Almoravid fashion, with each line of the Kalima separated by horizontal rule lines impressed into the flan. The script is angular Kufic, characteristic of Almoravid silver coinage, with individual letter strokes clearly delineated despite the small module. A small pellet or dot appears above the uppermost line of text. The overall design is purely epigraphic, with no figurative elements. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse displays multiple horizontal lines of Kufic Arabic script naming the ruler 'Ali ibn Yusuf and citing the mint of Valencia (Balansiya), arranged in the standard Almoravid epigraphic format. The legends are divided by horizontal lines across the flan, consistent with other Almoravid qirat issues struck at al-Andalus mints. The script is angular Kufic, tightly spaced to accommodate the ruler's name and mint attribution within the small circular field. A plain inner circle frames the inscription area. No figurative devices are present, in keeping with Islamic numismatic tradition. |
