| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field dominated by bold Arabic calligraphy in nasta'liq script, rendered in high relief across a flat, unadorned ground. The legends reference the ruling Amir Abdur Rahman Khan and his titles, arranged in sweeping diagonal lines characteristic of Afghan coinage of this period.
