Obverse description Crudely struck, irregular flan bearing a heavily stylized Arabic legend in the field, arranged in two or three horizontal registers. The Shahada inscription occupies the central field in angular, archaic Kufic script, with individual letterforms heavily abbreviated and compressed to fit the small module. The surfaces display the characteristic granular texture of a hammered silver flan, with the legend partially weak at the irregular flan edges. No decorative border or marginal legend is present, consistent with the Qanhari damma series of early Islamic Sind.
