| Beschrijving voorzijde | Crudely struck hammered flan bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged across the central field, characteristic of the Qanhari damma coinage of Sind. The legend is distributed in two registers separated by a horizontal line, with the angular Kufic script rendered in low relief. The flan is irregular and slightly cracked at the edges, typical of the primitive striking technique employed in early Islamic Sind. The overall design conforms to the epigraphic style of Arab governors of the region, with no figural elements. |
