| Obverse description | Crudely hammered silver flan bearing the Islamic shahada rendered in highly stylized, compressed Arabic script arranged across the field in multiple horizontal lines. The legend reads the first part of the profession of faith, with individual letter-forms bold and deeply struck but showing characteristic degeneration typical of late Qanhari small denomination coinage. A faint dotted border or pellet ring partially encircles the design. The overall fabric is irregular and slightly concave, consistent with the hammered technique used in Sindh during this period. Traces of green patina are visible in the field. |
