| Reverse description | Central field occupied by a bold, deeply struck Arabic legend arranged within an angular geometric frame, reading in a highly stylized Kufic script. The inscription fills the available field in a square or rectilinear layout typical of the Multan mint's adaptation of Abbasid epigraphic conventions. The flan exhibits characteristic cracking and irregular edges consistent with hammered production on a thin silver planchet. No border or marginal legend is present; the design is stark and formulaic in keeping with the small denomination Damma series. |
