Obverse description Central field displays the dynastic tamgha of Khan Mangu Timur rendered in relief within a prominent equilateral triangle. The tamgha, a Mongol heraldic ownership symbol, is composed of a stylized trident-like device with characteristic forked upper element and a rectangular lower base, boldly struck against the flat triangular ground. Marginal elements are partially visible at the flan edges, consistent with a broader die design extending beyond the irregular flan. The die work is bold and schematic, reflecting the utilitarian character of Golden Horde fiduciary copper coinage.
