| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a stylised Arabic-script legend rendered in the characteristic crude calligraphic style of Khoqand copper coinage. The inscription, giving the ruler's name and titles, is surrounded by a plain border following the irregular flan outline. The strike is characteristic of hand-hammered provincial production, resulting in uneven relief and a somewhat compressed field. |
