| Opis awersu | Arabic legend in multiple lines occupying the central field, reading the mint and date formula denoting striking at Sygnaq in AH 737/838. The inscription is rendered in a angular, somewhat archaic hand consistent with Jochid copper coinage of the period. A partial border of pellets frames the legend along the right margin. The flan is irregular and the strike uneven, typical of mass-produced base-metal issues of the White Horde. |
