| Obverse description | Central device depicting a Libra (scales of justice) with a horizontal beam supported by a central upright post, from which two pans hang suspended by cords on either side. The design is rendered in a bold, schematic style characteristic of Golden Horde copper coinage. An ornamental foliate or geometric motif occupies the lower field beneath the scales. The entire composition is contained within a circular border, with the coin's irregular flan showing typical hammered fabric. |
