Obverse description Central five-rayed star enclosing the tamga of Batu Khan, all contained within a linear circle. Numerals denoting the date (4, 3, and 7, representing the year 734 AH) and a braided sennit ornament are distributed between the rays of the star. The design is executed in a bold, abbreviated hammered style characteristic of Golden Horde subsidiary copper coinage.
