Significant wear and corrosion obscure finer details of the lettering. |

The animal is rendered in relief against a plain field, with the body occupying the majority of the flan. The crosshatched texture visible on the body of the animal is a characteristic feature of the die engraving technique employed at Saray or Azaq workshops. The flan is irregular and the design is somewhat off-center, as is typical of hammered issues of this series. |
