Reverse description Within a dotted border, the reverse bears a linear square frame bisected horizontally by a dividing line, creating two registers. The upper and lower halves of the square each contain a line of Persian script in a cursive hand. The four segments of the inscription record the mint formula: the word for 'minted,' the city name Saray, the regnal authority, and the AH date 737. The remainder of the field outside the cartouche is plain.
