| Obverse description | Within a dotted border, the field depicts a quadruped animal facing right in a schematic, stylized rendering typical of Golden Horde copper coinage. A rayed solar disc — the 'full sun' motif — appears prominently above or behind the animal, rendered with radiating lines. The die-work is characteristic of hastily produced pul coinage, with bold but loosely executed strokes. The overall composition fills the flan, with design elements occasionally running off the irregular planchet edge. |

| Reverse description | Within a dotted border, the reverse bears a linear square frame bisected horizontally by a dividing line, creating two registers. The upper and lower halves of the square each contain a line of Persian script in a cursive hand. The four segments of the inscription record the mint formula: the word for 'minted,' the city name Saray, the regnal authority, and the AH date 737. The remainder of the field outside the cartouche is plain. |
