Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Arabic legend in Naskh script occupying the central field, recording the mint name and AH date. The inscription reads ضرب الجدیده (struck at al-Jadida) with the Hijri year ٧٨٢ (AH 782, corresponding to circa 1380-1381 CE). Small pellets are scattered in the field as ornamental fillers, consistent with the decorative conventions of Golden Horde base-metal issues. The flan edges are irregular, a typical characteristic of hammered copper puls of this series. The surface retains areas of reddish-brown and green patination.
