| Reverse description | Central field bearing a multi-line Persian inscription in naskh script, reading horizontally across the flan. The legend, translating as 'Be happy! New pul,' occupies the central portion of the die area and is characteristic of the formulaic Persian legends employed on anonymous Golden Horde copper puls of the Crimean region. The strike is uneven and the flan irregular, with portions of the inscription weak or partially off-flan, consistent with the crude production standards of the issue. |
