Teresa de Entenza inherited the County of Urgell through her mother Constança and ruled jointly with her husband Alfons de la Cerda, whose disputed claim to the Castilian throne made the county a minor pawn in broader Iberian dynastic maneuvering throughout this period. Square obsidional and fractional issues from Urgell are among the least documented of all Catalan feudal coinages — Cru#1354 appears in very few documented auction appearances, and die studies remain essentially unpublished.
