| Obverse description | A pig standing in profile occupies the central field, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend, rendered in Gothic script, reads '+ S : R : PORCEL', with the letters C, E, and L distinguishable within the inscription. The design is crudely struck, consistent with the irregular hammered coinage of medieval Catalan counties. The coin exhibits the rough, irregular flan typical of small-denomination billon or copper issues of the period. |
