Obverse description Central field occupied by a Greek legend arranged in four lines within a wreath of palm or laurel branches, reading ΙΟΥΛΙΑ ΑΓΡΙΠΠΙΝΑ (Julia Agrippina), referencing Agrippina the Younger, mother of Nero. The wreath encircles the entire inscription, with its tied ends visible at the base. The design is characteristic of the flat, epigraphic style typical of Judaean bronze prutot of the mid-first century AD. No portrait is depicted; the name alone serves as the honorific device. The flan is irregular and slightly convex.
