(Translation: Bohemond)
Reverse description A plain cross extending to the inner circle divides the field into four quarters, each containing a small six-pointed star in the angle. The reverse type closely follows the standard Crusader denier format, with the cross as the dominant heraldic device. A circular Latin legend encircles the design, with the letters A and C rendered in pelleted form as a die-cutter's distinctive stylistic detail. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hand-hammered production.
