附加信息	The Turoni occupied the Touraine region along the Loire, and their potin output belongs to a broader tradition of base-metal casting — not striking — that spread through Armorican and central Gaulish tribes during the late second and first centuries BC. Potin flans were typically cast in clay molds in linked chains, then snapped apart, which is why edge irregularities on these pieces are the rule rather than the exception. Caesar's campaigns through Gaul in the 50s BC devastated Turoni tribal structure, and coin production appears to have collapsed sharply in their aftermath. Examples from the later end of this date range are notably cruder in execution.
