备注

Brunei's postal orders of this period were issued under the British postal system during the final years before the sultanate tightened administrative autonomy ahead of full independence in 1984. The dual denomination — one shilling alongside five pence — reflects the awkward transitional moment: Brunei had adopted its own dollar in 1967, making the shilling figure a relic carried over from the old sterling-linked order design rather than any currency actually in circulation.

De La Rue's watermarked stock was standard across multiple British colonial and post-colonial postal administrations simultaneously, meaning the security paper itself was almost certainly shared across several territories in the same production run.
