| 裏面の説明 | The denomination ПОЛУШКА (Polushka) is inscribed in three lines within a central circular cartouche, with the date 1735 below, all rendered in Cyrillic characters. The cartouche is surrounded by elaborate Baroque scrollwork and foliate ornaments filling the field, with a stylised rosette at the top centre. A milled border encircles the entire design, consistent with production at a rolling-mill facility. |

A novodel — a later restrike produced by the Imperial mint, typically for collectors rather than circulation — this piece replicates the 1735 Anna Polushka, the quarter-kopek denomination that sat at the absolute bottom of Russia's copper monetary hierarchy. Novodels of this period were commonly struck in the late 18th or 19th century using original or re-engraved dies, and their official mint origin paradoxically makes authentication harder, not easier, since the mint itself produced them in varying quantities at uncertain dates.
The KM#NL6 reference places it firmly in the novodel catalog rather than the circulation series. Die alignment and edge treatment often differ from genuine 1735 strikings.
