| Obverse description | Central field features the elaborate interlaced Cyrillic monogram of Tsar Alexander II, formed by a stylized А surmounted by the Roman numeral II, with ornate flourishes extending from the base of the cipher. The Imperial crown with cross finial is depicted above the monogram, dominating the upper field. The design is unencircled, occupying the full flan within a plain raised rim. The relief is bold and the execution characteristic of Warsaw Mint coinage of the mid-nineteenth century. |
