Obverse description Right-facing laureate bust of Tsar Peter I portrayed in a Western-influenced baroque style, wearing a draped mantle with a crown resting at the lower left of the field. The tsar's hair falls in long curls to the shoulder in the contemporary European fashion. A Cyrillic circular legend surrounds the effigy, reading the full imperial title of Peter Alexeyevich as Ruler of all Russia. The coin's border is decorated with a beaded inner ring typical of early Petrine coinage. The portrait reflects the artistic transition from Muscovite to European numismatic conventions introduced under Peter I's monetary reforms.
