The surrounding Latin legend, interrupted by decorative hook-shaped ornaments, reads MONE NO REG POL, identifying the piece as new coinage of the Kingdom of Poland. The overall composition is typical of the Kraków mint's półtorak production under Sigismund III Vasa, with the hammered technique producing a slightly uneven strike across the flan. |
