| Reverse description | Central design features the Awdaniec coat of arms (a horseshoe with a cross above it) set within a circular wreath or inner ring, surmounted by a patriarchal cross flanked by two six-pointed stars. The surrounding Latin legend, interrupted by decorative hook-shaped ornaments, reads MONE NO REG POL, identifying the piece as new coinage of the Kingdom of Poland. The overall composition is typical of the Kraków mint's półtorak production under Sigismund III Vasa, with the hammered technique producing a slightly uneven strike across the flan. |
