Reverse description Central device consisting of a royal crown above the numeral 24, enclosed within a beaded inner circle, the whole flanked by ornate foliate and floral arabesques issuing from a central decorative element above the crown. Small star-shaped mint marks punctuate the outer legend. The circular Latin peripheral legend reads MONE NO REG POLO, an abbreviation for Moneta Nova Regni Poloniae (New Money of the Kingdom of Poland), separated by star ornaments. The overall composition is typical of the hammered coinage produced at the Bydgoszcz mint under Sigismund III Vasa.
