Reverse description Central device consists of the Awdaniec coat of arms (a horseshoe with a cross above), encircled by a ring within which the numeral 24 appears at the base, denoting the denomination of 1/24 Thaler, the whole surmounted by a royal crown. The date 1616 is divided across the upper field flanking the crown. A Latin peripheral legend reads MONE NO REG POL, abbreviated from Moneta Nova Regni Poloniae, struck in the characteristic irregular letterforms of hammered silver coinage of the Bydgoszcz mint.
