Obverse description Central field occupied by a large quartered royal shield of arms surmounted by a crown, displaying the Polish eagle (upper left and lower right quarters), the Lithuanian Pahonia (upper right quarter), and the Vasa dynastic arms (lower left quarter), with an inescutcheon at centre. The shield is enclosed within a beaded inner circle.
