| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a large quartered heraldic shield bearing the arms of Sweden combined with those of Elbing, surmounted by a royal crown. The upper quarters display the Swedish lion rampant and the Vasa dynasty sheaf, while the lower portion bears the city arms of Elbing with a cross motif. The numeral 3 appears at the base of the shield, denoting the denomination. A circular Latin legend runs around the shield within the beaded border. |

| Reverse description | Central device consists of an ornate orb or globus cruciger enclosed within a double-ring cartouche formed by two interlocking crescents or horseshoe-shaped bands, creating the characteristic Jagiellonian/Vasa orb design typical of Polish-Lithuanian and Swedish-occupied coinage of this era. The date is divided and placed within the field flanking the central orb. A circular Latin legend surrounds the whole design within a beaded border, with a small heraldic symbol at the base. |
