Reverse description The Imperial Russian double-headed eagle displayed at centre, each head surmounted by a small crown and the two heads jointly surmounted by a larger imperial crown above. The eagle bears a crowned shield on its breast and holds a sceptre in its right talon and an orb in its left. The date 1778 appears in the upper field, divided by the eagle, and the circular Cyrillic legend surrounding the design gives the denomination and mint-master initials. The mintmaster initials ФЛ appear at the base of the design.
