Reverse description The Imperial Russian double-headed eagle displayed at center, with both heads crowned and surmounted by a large imperial crown above; the eagle's wings spread wide across the field. The breast of the eagle bears a shield depicting St. George and the Dragon. In the eagle's right talon is a scepter and in the left an orb. The date is divided across the upper field flanking the crown, and the Cyrillic legend around the periphery reads 'МОНЕТА ПОЛТИНА' (Coin Poltina), with the mint-master's initials appearing below the eagle.
