Reverse description The central device features the Imperial Russian double-headed eagle displayed, with wings spread, each head surmounted by a crown and the ensemble topped by a large imperial crown above. The eagle holds a sceptre in its right talon and an orb in its left, conforming to the established Petrine heraldic convention. The mint mark СПБ (St. Petersburg) appears in small characters beneath the eagle's tail. The Cyrillic circular legend МОНЕТА ∙ НОВАЯ ∙ ЦЕНА ∙ ПОЛТIНА surrounds the eagle, with the date 1727 positioned in the upper left field. The overall composition is bold and well-centred, consistent with the early St. Petersburg Mint style.
