| Obverse description | Draped bust of Emperor Alexander I facing right, depicted in military uniform with epaulettes and high collar, rendered in a neoclassical portrait style characteristic of early 19th-century English die engraving. The effigy is finely modelled with naturalistic hair falling to the nape of the neck. The circular Latin legend reads ALEXANDER I. D:G • IMP • AVTOCR • RVSSOR., abbreviating his full imperial title, running along the upper and right periphery of the field. A toothed border frames the entire design. |

| Reverse description | The Imperial Russian double-headed eagle displayed with wings spread, each head surmounted by a crown and the whole topped by a third, larger imperial crown. The eagle's dexter talon clutches an orb and cross, while the sinister talon holds a sceptre. On the breast of the eagle is an oval shield bearing the mounted St. George slaying the dragon. Below the eagle, the denomination ПОЛТИНА appears in Cyrillic, with the date 1804 beneath it. A toothed border frames the entire reverse field. |
