| Obverse description | Armored half-length effigy of King Sigismund III Vasa facing right, wearing an elaborate closed crown and richly decorated plate armor with a ruff collar visible at the neck. The king holds a scepter in his right hand and an orb in his left, both rendered in fine relief. A decorative cross ornament appears in the right field. The circumferential Latin legend runs along the inner border of the coin, separated from the central device by a beaded inner circle, with a dentilated outer rim. |
