Obverse description Central field dominated by the large ornate cursive royal cypher of Stanisław August Poniatowski, comprising the interlaced letters S and A surmounted by a royal crown rendered in high relief. The date is divided across the field, with the first two digits appearing to the left and the final two digits to the right of the monogram. The design is unbordered, with no peripheral legend, presenting a bold and elegantly simple heraldic composition characteristic of late eighteenth-century Polish coinage.
