| Obverse description | Draped laureate bust of John II Casimir Vasa facing right, with long flowing hair adorned with a feathered wreath or laurel, rendered in the Baroque manner typical of mid-17th century Polish coinage. The effigy is depicted with fine detail in the facial features and drapery folds at the truncation. A circular Latin legend surrounds the bust, divided by the portrait, reading the royal titulature abbreviation. The coin exhibits a plain inner field with the legend set close to the dentilated border. |
