Imitatie-bankbiljetten — imitation banknotes produced as play money or novelty items — occupied a legally ambiguous space in the Netherlands for much of the twentieth century. Dutch law prohibited reproductions that could plausibly be mistaken for genuine currency, so manufacturers typically exaggerated proportions, altered text, or printed on distinctly thin stock to stay clear of counterfeiting statutes. Whether this example meets that threshold is a question the dimensions alone won't answer.

Collector interest is narrow but real, mostly from ephemera specialists rather than mainstream notaphilists.
