| Obverse description | High-relief depiction of King Tomislav mounted on horseback at centre, holding a sword and bearing the Croatian chequered banner; jubilant warriors and figures on foot surround him to the left, while to the right a coastal scene with medieval sailing ships and assembled crowds is visible. A proclamation tablet with inscribed text appears in the upper right field.
