| Reverse description | A short cross pattée occupies the central field, its flared arms extending nearly to the inner beaded circle that bounds the central device. The cross divides the field into four quadrants. Two concentric Latin legends encircle the central cross: an inner legend and an outer legend separated by beaded fillets, both reading continuously around the coin. The overall design follows the standard double-legend arrangement typical of Lorraine and Bar regional coinage of the mid-14th century. |
