| Descrizione del dritto | Central field features a quartered heraldic shield displaying the arms of Luxembourg and Bar, arranged in a cross-like composition typical of medieval convention coinage. The shield is surrounded by an inner beaded circle. A circular legend in uncial Latin characters runs along the outer border, naming the two issuing rulers: King John of Bohemia (Jean the Blind) and Count Henry IV of Bar. The overall design is characteristic of hammered silver coinage produced under the Luxembourg-Bar monetary convention of the mid-14th century. |
